Description In a modern-day reworking of Mark Twain's classic story, Tom Canty (Dylan Sprouse), an average kid living with his grandfather, longs to be an actor. Due to his outlandish behavior, and his tendency to quote lines from his favorite plays, Tom is a bit misunderstood by his schoolmates as well as his grandfather. Tom's best friend and mentor is Miles, a retired actor (Vincent Spano), who lives in the neighborhood. Although Miles has his own struggles, he tries to be supportive and lead Tom down the right path. One afternoon, Tom sneaks onto the set of Teen Spy to meet his hero, Eddie Tudor (Cole Sprouse). Eddie, the famous (and infamously spoiled) child star, is making everyone's life difficult on set. Little does Eddie know, this demanding behavior is about to get him fired. The two boys switch clothes, and lives, for the afternoon. But when the production suddenly moves to Miami, the boys are stuck in their assumed identities. As both boys struggle to get back to their lives and interact with one another's families, friends, and co-workers, they learn important lessons about family, humility, appreciating what they have and valuing the people closest to them. Also stars Kay Panabaker, Dedee Pfeiffer, Ed Lauter, and Sally Kellerman
