Description
Following the mysterious death of a fellow member of a local Mystery Writers' Workshop, a librarian and mystery novelist struggling with crippling writers block, named Julia London (Crystal Bernard), steals her now deceased mentor and former professor’s unpublished manuscript and purports it to be her own. To her surprise, the crime novel, entitled 'Grave Misconduct', is published and becomes a huge success. But her deed comes back to haunt her when an intrepid police detective (Dorian Harewood) begins to see a link between a series of unsolved, grisly murders in the area and those depicted in the book. She must keep her secret safe from her own publisher, Margo (Roxanne Hart) and her publisher’s associate Trent (Vincent Spano) and work to discover the identity of the killer, while simultaneously protecting herself from being publicly exposed. Things get more complicated when she is tempted to romantically cross the line with Trent and take him in as a confidante.
